Happy 2026 (Even If I’m a Little Late)

Happy 2026 (Even If I’m a Little Late)

Happy 2026, friends!

Okay… I know I’m a little late saying that. But honestly? Life has been life-ing in the most real way. Between single mom life, stepping into a second job, building my brand, serving in the mental health space, and just trying to stay afloat some days — January flew by before I could even catch my breath. Then here came February and how is it almost MARCH!?

And maybe that’s actually the message I want to share with you.

We put so much pressure on ourselves when a new year starts. New goals. New habits. New mindset. New everything. Social media makes it seem like everyone else hit the ground running on January 1st while some of us were just trying to survive, heal, provide, or simply keep showing up.

If that was you too… you’re not behind.

You’re human.

This season has been stretching me. It’s required deeper faith, stronger boundaries, more intentional rest, and a lot of honest conversations with God. I’ve had moments where I felt strong and focused — and others where I wondered how I was going to keep all the plates spinning. But one thing I keep coming back to is this:

Growth doesn’t always look glamorous.
Sometimes it looks like consistency.
Sometimes it looks like choosing peace over pressure.
Sometimes it looks like resting instead of quitting.
And sometimes it looks like simply getting through the day with your faith intact.

As someone who talks openly about mental health, healing, faith, and purpose, I want to remind you (and myself) that progress isn’t canceled just because life got heavy. God’s work in you isn’t paused because you had to slow down.

If anything… those slower seasons often shape us the most.

So here’s my late New Year encouragement to you:

Give yourself grace.
Celebrate the small wins.
Take care of your mind and heart.
Stay anchored in faith.
And keep moving forward — even if it’s one small step at a time.

I’m grateful you’re here. Truly. This space, this community, and the conversations we share mean more to me than you know.

There’s a lot coming this year — workshops, new book, healing spaces, speaking, new resources, and honestly just more real conversations about faith, mental health, purpose, and growth.

But for now? We’re just taking it one day at a time.

And that’s enough.

With love,
Parris
